Based: Heathrow, Middlesex, Greater London, West London
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Bens
Your role will be to ensure smooth system-run and maintaining the uptime targets through designing, implementing, and maintaining existing and new features. To this end, you will have excellent research, design and presentation skills, with an excellent understanding of and proactive hands-on approach towards Internet security as it applies to a busy e-commerce website and supporting infrastructure. You will have experience of heterogeneous networks of machines running a mixture of operating systems, particularly Linux, Solaris, and Microsoft Windows. You will have a good understanding of Windows Domain infrastructures, and of virus/work/Trojan prevention, detection and cleaning. You will be experienced in setting up, maintaining and administering e-commerce networks.
Essential Skills
Degree qualified (2:1) or above and/or CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
4+ years experience in a similar role
Experience of administering, maintaining and supporting security in an e-commerce environment
Project management and full project lifecycle experience
Experience of heterogeneous networks (Linux, Unix, Solaris and Windows)
Knowledge of Cisco PIX firewalls
Windows domain infrastructures (virus / Trojan prevention, detection, cleaning)
Consultancy / client facing experience
Ability to travel through Europe and the US as required
Desirable Skills
CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert)
CVP (Cisco Voice Portal)
Cisco IPCC Enterprise
